AMD hasn’t announced anything on their end regarding a new driver but it is likely coming. Nvidia has prepared a game ready driver that will give you the absolute best performance you can have with Tekken 7 on day one with their cards. Tekken 7 features a “Dynamic Adjustment” setting which will raise and lower different settings to ensure you get a smooth, consistent 60 FPS while playing. Obviously, these settings will be able to be reached with other hardware. You might be able to squeak by with the i5, even at 4K, since upping the resolution will shift a lot of the work from the CPU to the GPU. Not surprisingly, they recommend their newest flagship card, the GTX 1080 Ti. Nvidia went even further and tested what you would need to bring the game into 4K resolution while also sporting a solid 60 FPS. We’d like to assume an RX 480 or 580 will also work in this situation as the cards are similar to the GTX 1060.

The GTX 1060 should be able to get the job done in both 1080p and 1440p, two very popular gaming resolutions on PC. The real jump comes from the GPU, recommending a GTX 1060 from the 660 and 750 Ti. If we move to the recommended specs, you’ll see the CPU jumps from a fourth-generation i3 to a fourth-generation i5, which is a smaller leap than we’d expect.

You aren’t required how have Windows 10 for this title. Recommending a GTX 660 or 750 Ti as the minimum GPU is a surprising thing to see in 2017 since both those cards have become increasingly long in the tooth over the years. Fighting games usually target 60 FPS so it looks like this i3 should be good enough to hit that mark, provided you turn down a few graphics settings. A fourth-generation i3 processor is much lower than we expected with this title since more and more games are requiring more cores with their titles. The game is on the larger side of things so you will need at least 60GB of free space on your hard drive to get this installed. Looking at the minimum specs first, you’ll see that you don’t need a powerhouse PC at all to play this game.

The newest title in the Tekken series will feature full controller support, local and online multiplayer and a full list of Steam achievements on the PC. Here’s a fun fact: Akuma will now have been on both Tekken titles on PC. Street Fighter X Tekken was released on PC but we’re not going to count that as a mainline title. Processor: Intel Core i5-4690 3.Tekken 7 releases during the beginning of the next month and its release will mark the first time in Tekken’s 22 year history that a title has appear on the PC platform.Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset.Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 750Ti 2GB, or equivalent.Processor: Intel Core Intel Core i3-4160 3.60GHz or equivalent.

What if I want to max it out?Īs for the recommended requirements, they include an Intel Core i5-4690, 8GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. Obviously, AMD equivalents would work perfectly as well. Going into specifics, we can tell you that you’ll need at least an Intel dual-core CPU paired with 6GB of RAM, while the GPU would need to be a GeForce GTX 660 2GB/GTX 750Ti 2GB.

These were revealed via Steam not too long ago by Bandai Namco. Moreover, it appears that TEKKEN 7 will also demand a modern-day PC, at least according to its official PC requirements. More recent titles such as Mortal Kombat X required relatively powerful rigs in order to be played at decent framerates. Fighting games have generally been quite easy to run on PC, but things change.
